so i am online, YM-ing with my friend meredith, who just spontaneously bought a plane ticket to come out here and help me paint the new house. how tremendous and awesome is that!?
meanwhile, the hippie sent email out to some of his boys that said "time to move heavy shit, bitches!" and now they are coming out of the woodwork to help us move. from places like pennsylvania. and DC. and right down the road.
we have some fucking great friends.

We could come up and be the bartenders. GATOR-Aide while working, martinis of all kinds after the daily jobs are done!

I hear you! When we moved into our house, we had to seel our other one first and then wait for 5 months to get into the new house. Me, Hubbie, and 3 year old lived out of three suitcases and three file boxes in a series of VERY GOOD freinds' houses. The last two weeks we slept on the basement floor of our neighbors, who had just moved in themselves.
Sounds like you have the good luck and kindness to have found similar friends. Makes you love mankind again!
I can't wait to come out there! We'll have a lot of fun. :)
